The Academy will be holding parents consultation evenings. These are to provide a vital opportunity for teachers to give feedback to both students and parents for trial exam outcomes and most importantly what needs to be done to ensure success in the summer
Please note: When logging in to the parents evening booking system, please use the following format to enter the tutor group – 10 XXX – please note the space between the year group and the tutor code as this has changed since last time.
The evenings provide an excellent opportunity to work with your child’s teachers to review their progress to date, address any issues and discuss plans for future support. For students in Year’s 7 and 8 there is also the opportunity to visit the Real Life display of work.
For all years, bookings can be made via the schoolcloud system. Please remember that tutors and teachers can be contacted at any time throughout the year to discuss any issues or for an update on progress.
To increase capacity, we are trialling sixth form/single year group evenings and parents/carers will have the opportunity to book with either of their child’s subject teachers (where they are taught by more than one person). Both teachers will be able to report on the child’s progress and parents/carers should select only one subject teacher when booking.
For students in exam year groups we will be offering face to face, in school meetings, and we will be trialling combining the ‘real
life’ display of work with parents’ evenings for students in Years 7 and 8.

Alongside parents’ evenings you will receive tracking data during the year where we will report on your child’s attitude to
learning, behaviour and attendance.
