Mr Simon Brown, Headteacher
“We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Sixth Form students receiving their A/AS Level results today. Their hard work, resilience, and ambition have led to fantastic results, with an exceptional number securing A*/A grades as well as securing places at top universities, including Oxbridge and Russell Group institutions.
Many of our students have overcome personal challenges to reach these milestones, and we couldn’t be prouder of their determination and success. Their achievements reflect not only their dedication but also the support of our brilliant staff and our commitment to innovative, student-focused teaching – developing their skills in global competencies.
This cohort has also made a lasting impact on our school community – mentoring younger students and leading by example, creating an environment where all can thrive. Congratulations to every one of them. We can’t wait to see what they do next!”
Mrs Louise Holdback, Assistant Headteacher – Sixth Form Leader,
Congratulations to all our Sixth Form students for achieving such amazing results which will support them in their next steps, whether that be continuing to the second year of A level or moving on to university, an apprenticeship, gap year or the world of work! Once again I am incredibly impressed by their effort, commitment and resilience. Their academic achievements coupled with their broader ‘life skills’ are qualities which will ensure that they have the foundations to achieve great success in whatever pathway they choose to follow. We recognise that this success is not just down to the students themselves, but also the families, carers, teachers and friends who have supported them along the way. We look forward to the class of 2025 becoming our alumni, and hope that they will keep in touch to update us on where their career pathway takes them to inspire future students.
