Re: AS Level/End of Year Results

We wish all our Year 12 students the best for their AS level and end of year exams.

Please note that in order to return to study at A2 students must achieve a minimum of an ‘E’ grade in two subjects they are continuing.

If a student receives a ‘U’ grade in any subject they will not be allowed to continue with it into A2.

Students who receive a ‘U’ grade and are left with less than three subjects to study will be required to choose another course at AS if they wish to continue. This will be dependent on grades received at GCSE and availability after the new Year 12 intake have been allocated their subjects.

Readathon – sponsored read for Y7s

Our sponsored reading challenge, Readathon, is almost finished – the deadline is Tuesday 22 March.

Y7s should have set themselves a target that they should have just about achieved by now. We are raising money to help bring the magic of books and stories to children in hospital.

Here is the link to use to pay the sponsorship money in, directly to the Read for Good campaign:

Thank you so much for your support.

Bake Sale for World Challenge | 1st March

Why are we doing the bake sale?
We are doing the bake sale since on the 5th of July we are going on a World Challenge to Norway and because of this we have to raise £760 for the coaches to get to the airport, we will also hopefully be doing other fundraising activities similar to this but more thought through and fun. We hope you can bring in whatever money you can to help and everything helps. 🙂

Where will we be?
We will have a table in the bus park area at the end of the day where you can come and buy sweet treats that we have made. You will have to bring in money. Most items will range from 50p – £1.50 so make sure you bring in enough for what you would like.

It’s a great way to end the day and you will be helping us a lot! So you get a yummy treat and the joy of helping people out 🙂

Parents can pre-order a cake on SQuid for 50p or students can bring in change.
